how to have information on a micro camera model

hello all

I'm new no this board....great board!

I have a micro-camera which I do not know the model or other characteristics.
It was mounted on a bar code reader.
THere is a label with this code : 4000SR-12FA-X 48-00171
This is connected with a bus to a circuit in which there is only one label:
4010SR-1214b X-49-0976435122033
I'd be curious to have some more detailed info on these items (how to use...how to connect to a PC for exmple...) , but have not found anything ...
Someone could help me?

You probably can't do much with it apart from using it as a barcode reader (assuming you have information for the board that explains how to do so). The camera module most likely has no intelligence, so you'd need to create a (fairly) complex circuit to use it. That would entail opening the module, and even then you may not find out what the sensor is, it is sometimes printed on the soldered reverse side of the sensor, so it would need to be unsoldered.. It's most likely a CCD which would need some circuitry (the board you have is application-specific and unlikely to help you much). Besides, it may be a line CCD, not a 2-dimensional CCD. So, in summary, it is very difficult to use it as a general camera.
