HFSS Results changed by changing the linear step size in Discrete sweep

Hi i am simulating waveguide septum polarizer for 7.25 GHz to 8.4 GHz. I am using the discrete sweet for analysis. First i used 0.2 GHz step size and optimized all the results. but when i changed the linear step size to 0.1 GHz. all s-parameters and Axial ratio results are changed. Kindly tell me what I do to keep the results same.

If you use 0.1 GHz step instead of 0.2 you have the double number of points.
What you mean with all s-parameters have changed? The s-parameter at a particular frequency should be the same:
With 0.2 GHz step you have the points: 7.25, 7.45,7.65 and so on.
And with 0.1 GHz step you have 7.25, 7.35, 7.45, 7.55 and so on.
The s-parameter on 7.25 and 7.45 should be same in both cases.

Hi

you are right results are same at same frequcey points in case of step size 0.1 GHz adn 0.2 GHz. But my problem is that First I optimized the design with 0.2 GHz step size and achieved the desired results for entire band 7.25-8.4 GHZ. But when I decreased the step size to 0.1 GHz due to the more number of frequecy points results are going down on some points from the desired level. In that case I have to optimized my design using minimum step size such as 0.01 GHz, but in this situation Simulation time using parmetric sweep in HFSS is very very long. Kindly tell me any other way which is easy and helpful for me.

hi fayyaz.bashir any luck finding the answer?
i have got the same problem.
i am simulating helical antenna array n have used the frequency sweep from 2GHz to 7GHz. for finding out the nature of return loss graph for the frequencies beyond the range i increased the sweep from 0.5Ghz to 10GHz.
but the values of S11 at the frequencies between 2GHz and 7GHz (that i already had from previous simulation) had changed.
what could be the problem?

Have you changed the sweep type or the solution frequency? This can lead to different results.

i changed only the sweep. not the solution frequency. my solution frequency is 2.4GHz
the earlier sweep was 2GHz to 7GHz.
later i changed it from 1GHz to 7GHz.
