MIMO Antennas vs Array Antennas

Dear friends
Sorry for my silly question but I'm really confused ! I don't know what is the difference between MIMO antennas and Array antennas. I have to design a MIMO antenna for my project. Does it mean an array antenna !
I'm not sure but I think the difference between them is related to their feeding approach. In MIMO antennas, each input antenna feed by a separated port while in the array antennas all the antenna be fed by only one (or at most two) feeder. So all the antenna are connected together opposite to MIMO antenna. Is that true ?
So appreciated.

for MIMO antennas, the relative phases of the antennas may be dependent or independent.
But for array antennas, the phases of the antennas must be dependent.
This is just my idea, and I am not expert on antenna.
Thank you tony. Would you explain more please.
when someone tells me MIMO antennas, I think of several INDEPENDENT antennas, connected to independent transceiver channels, but sending/receiving the same modulated signal (but each uniquely distorted by the wireless environment)
When I hear about an antenna array, I think of multiple radiating elements phased to point in one direction, and driven by one transceiver channel.
