Diode for very high frequencies
i'm interesting for diodes that are working at very high frequencies (over 50GHz)
any suggestion is welcome.
Hi,
I suggest you to have a look at PDB (Planar dopped Barrier) diode. We use it for the power measurement of RF signal at 50 GHZ.
See Application Note of Agilent.

thanks for your replies,
i will follow your suggestions,
Also take a look at Virginia Diodes.

At above 50 GHz, most diodes are marketed in chip form. If you need a really good Schottky diode , please contact Spacek Labs. Inc. "www.spaceklabs.com" for the diodes in "picopill" enclosures, 0.5 mm dia. x 0.4 mm long, usable up to >110 GHz.
thank you very much for your answers.
I think same you
Step recovery diodes are also an option for the >10GHz application.
