Dear all,
As I added a 9nH inductor in source of the ATF54143 FETMOS,the S11 become larger than 10dB at 7GHz,but no mater how I increase the inductor value ,the peak of S11 still at 7Ghz! I just want to design a 2~3Ghz oscillator ,how can I do with it ,how to make the peak of S11 go to a lower frequency?
thank you in advance!

I think you check S11 of the active device by connecting a simple XnH inductor and this is not changing with different inductor values because it's not real resonance point, instead S11 which you saw is a resonance frequency with internal fixed bonding wires and their parasitic inductances. That's why it's not changing...
But your method is wrong..
You should check your "Closed Loop Gain" with resonator. For more information, see ADS documents and examples.
thank you very much!
