Incidence angle in HFSS
Could anyone tell me how to change plane wave incidence angle in Floquet port? I have successfully simulated the unit cell (FSS) for normal incidence but what are the settings for various angles of incidence like 30,45,60 etc?..please reply with full details.

I really don't understand what you are saying. I am posting the image of the unit cell and the research paper I am implementing. As you go through the research paper, its fig.3. that I am talking about. Aren't there any settings in HFSS that would simply require some changes.or you could further explain what you said about the sin and cosine.
i took a look at the paper. they used PMM for different incident angles...
in HFSS or any FEM solver, you are the only one responsible for the design! and believe me, it is simple. i try again:
0- i assume 2D, xy plane.
1- you have a freq range with their k values and teta
2- put in the source expression, the x component of your incidence kx=k*cos(teta)
2- put in the source direction, the y component of your incidence ky=k*sin(teta)
3- put in the Floquet x direction kx and y direction 0.
4- you should now be fine!
