when i design series feedback oscillator using transistor s-parameters, resulting impedances contain real part that must be matched with resistors. But in real devices there are only biasing resistors, that cannot act in such way, because connected through quarterwave stubs. Does this mean that reflection coefficient choosed such way that resistors are eliminated in matching networks, and only L and C complex impedances must be matched? As i understand it is difficult to use smd rresistances in matching networks at freqs above 8GHz, so how this problem is solved?
