Can microstrip banpass filter sizes be halved for f/2 freq and work without cutting?

If bandpass filter for frequency F is successfully tuned, so PCB layout size after fabrication is final lenght that works without cutting or adding copper, can the same filter for halve F/2 or double F*2 frequency be made just by halving/doubling microstrip lengths in layout? Or there is a possibility, that this thing scales nonlinearly on some substrate? I do not worry about losses too much, but about center frequency.

Thats a nice question terminator.
Making the Length to half for same design will obviously not make the resonant freq half but will double it or near by to it. the width will not be of much diff for freq increase.! but the diff will be in some .3 mm as of my observations.. SO a little freq shift from twice the freq may come..!

I was in this situation few times. The central frequency of the microstrip bandpass filter will match pretty well x2 or :2, but the bandwidth and rejection of the new filter will be totally off, and doesn't follow any halving/doubling correlation.

the parasitic effects are more on the higher frequency, so u should expect to have to vary the half-sized dimensions a little to compensate for the 2xF0 filter
