Hey Guys.
Im doing a project where I have to be able to detect sunlight one some spots more then others without the spots being to far apart from each other.
Problem is that your usual LDR circuits will when placed in sunlight either go almost short to almost infinite resistance.
Does anybody know of any ICs in existence that can measure sunlight?

Its a proximity/ambient light sensor from Silicon Labs. They state in the data sheet that
With that being said, you should still be able to use a simple LDR circuit by just sizing your resistors correctly.

TI has a line of optical sensors with the amp built in
