anyone know of a 5.8 GHz I/Q mixer?
You seek a I/Q Down Converter ?
Marki Microwave
I did not read carefully your request. They make good stuff but are not cheep.
you probably checked hmc951, it has lo and rf amps inside.
and hmc833 or max2870 for pll+vco maybe.
never seen one with build in opamps, you may need to use another opamp or IFDVGA for that.
Saw some advertising from Linear Technology in Microwave Journal about 5.8GHz mixer with LO and IF buffer. Check for it.
yes, sorry, I'm using it as a downconverter, with DC coupled I and Q outputs
Does it work for you ?

wow, nice find BigBoss! but no, it needs 5 volts, Lithium battery only puts out 3.3 to 2.7V. Not sure why semiconductor manufacturers do not seem to know this fact!
