3 way CATV splitter unconnected port issue

I wonder about possible impedance mismatch in commercial cheap 3 way splitters used in CATV systems. If 2 out of 3 ports are connected can that make a problem and should all output ports be terminated with adequate impdance?

It will probably be OK unterminated but the correct method is to use a resistor with value equal to the load impedance (usually 75 Ohms) across the unused port.
