How to connect small components to wide 50 Ohm lines (~2.8mm on thick FR4)

How can I correctly make connection between some small components like capactiors and IC's to such wide lines? It's almost 3mm wide lines. Maybe make all lines and matching to 75 Ohm lines? Than would be much thinner. Or it is better to go with 50 Ohm lines, but here i unsure how to make best connection.

The traces should be tapered as far as necessary. The significance of trace width mismatching is a function of impedance change, length and frequency. Tapered trace segments smaller than λ/10 (e.g. all traces on your PCB unless your designing microwave or high speed digital circuits) can be analyzed as series inductors rather than transmission lines. They add to already existing component inductance, e.g. IC bond wires and capacitor ESL.

In RF design, the designed trace impedance is usually fixed by devices and external interfaces. In digital design, it can be partly modified, e.g. in a 50 to 80 ohm range.

In addition to what FvM wrote: If you use a thinner substrate (e.g. 0.5mm FR4) the lines will be narrower (for same impedance) and the vias through the PCB are shorter (less inductive).
