Hi everyone!
I'm trying to design the most basic configuration of distributed amplifier
I have simulated it in ADS and the problem is that it does not amplify and gives me a negative gain over the frequency range 1G to 20GHz. This is my Schematic
Could anyone help me with that please?
Thanks in advance

The amplifier is missing a power supply.
If you use small signal s-parameter model of the transistors, it will give you a Gain.
You used non-linear models that need bias circuit.
How did you calculate gain and model the transmission lines?
Did you choose a MESFET from the library?
Av = ? n·gm·Zo, where n is the number of stages.
No I chose a FET from linear models, and I calculated gain from G = gm*N^2 *Zg^2*Zd^2/4 as mentioned in David Pozar's book.
I have used a FET from the linear models. Does it still need a power supply?
