RFID bandwidth at 6.8 GHz?
If one familiar with RFID systems knows one of the operation frequencies of this systems is 6.8 GHz, however I could not find the bandwidth of RFID at 6.8 GHz. Is this from 6.65~6.95 GHz or not.....?
Can anybody help?
6.7 to 6.9 GHz
Thx buddy....
But how come I could NOT find it in anywhere?
Would you please introduce me a reference for this? Book, paper, etc.
Really appreciate in advance.
Good luck

Thx dude...
But there is still no frequency range for 6.8 GHz!
I don't recognize 6.8 GHz as a commonly accepted RFID frequency, it's neither mentioned in FCC or ETSI documents. Where do you see it specified?
I mainly see it in notched-band UWB filter/antenna when some frequencies in the UWB band from 3.1~10.6 GHz is rejected, here is an example:

hi ya
I found it doing a google search ... have just tried again and cannot find the same article grrrrr
If I find it again I will post a link
cheers

I think the authors meant 5.8GHz (ISM band).
If you look at frequency regulations, 6.8GHz is a satellite communication band.

Thx. That will help me a lot...
Thx, I'll check this out.
But there are other references that tried to reject this band (i.e. 6.8 GHz RFID).
Thx again.
My best guess is that someone started with a typo (6.8GHz instead of 5.8GHZ) and others based their designs on that mistake. If you search for "6.8GHz RFID" your edaboard thread is now at position #1, indicating that there are very few publications for that keyword.
Maybe....I don't know....maybe....but it's weird, isn't it?
