Hello,
I have found this antenna
http://www.hamuniverse.com/k4iwlnewwindom.html
I have previously made a 4:1 balun (200R to 50R balun)
http://qrp.gr/balun/index.htm but this is of the Guanella type.
Can I use this balun with this antenna?
Can I also use another coaxial for the feeder instead of RG58? I have
RG223 (double shield) and aircom plus, both expensive cables. Will these
do or it has to be the specific cable to radiate?
Finally, I see that the line isolator is just a turn inside the beads.
Can I just pass the beads around the coaxial and keep them somehow
(tape, tie wraps etc) at the correct point, instead of looping the wire?

Answer to all three questions. Yes.
The environment around the antenna will have far more effect than what type of coax you use or how the balun and choke are made.
