crystal ladder and high ESR

Hi, I just buy this crystal

I try measure this with my VNWA (in series) Tx port - crystal - Rx port .

But I don't see the resonant frequency! , the RX port is costant to -80dbm

Why , because the ESR is too high?

With ESR high is possible build a crystal ladder?

Build a simple oscillator with your crystal (as in the example below) and you will find if the crystal is good or not:

You may have to use a very low bandwidth and high resolution sweep to see the sharp resonances.

If you are using a 77.5 KHZ crystal then its bandwidth will be in the order of a few HZ.
