Hi, I am designing a mixer for a bluetooth radio transmitter for a school project. I am having trouble figuring out how to run simulations for the following specs that I have to meet.
Gain = 0dB
Do I just connect one port at input and one port at output and use sp analysis to measure s21?
OIP3 => -5dBm
I have this simulation for the power amplifier, and I just have a port at input and port at output. Then I run a PSS analysis for the compression point. Is this correct?
These new two I really don't know.
Image reject ratio = 25dB
LO to RF leakage = -40dB
Any tips, advice, or references would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for your time!

In a mixer usually the RF input port and IF output port, are on different frequencies, so you cannot use S21.
But you can use a specific RF input level (in dBm) and measure the output power (in dBm) at the IF port.
The difference in dB between RF input power and IF output power would be the mixer gain (or loss, if is passive mixer).
In this way you can see also the influence of the LO input power on the mixer gain (or loss).
Thanks for the advice. Would any input power value do, or is there a specific range that should be used?
Also, any tips for OIP3, image rejection ratio, or LO to RF leakage? Thanks a bunch!
