localization using rfid

I am doing a project in localization of books in library using rfid technology.

Can anyone give me ideas on implementing it.

I decided to choose tags operating at 13.8 Mhz.

What should i buy apart from tags and readers?

Presume you mean 13.56 MHz. Permitted power at 13.8 MHz would be very low.

First you'll specify the intended operation. "Localization" sounds like a wider range. Most 13.56 MHz tags are designed for proximity range (usually below 10 cm), e.g. NFC and ISO 14443/Mifare. ISO 15693 vicinity tags can achieve a wider range, but only with rather bulky coils. Proximity tags are nevertheless commonly used in libraries, but not suited for localization.

oh yes sorry...13.5 MHz. So, you suggest me to use ISO 15693 tags. Thank you. Can you suggest me the reader also. My project is on localization of books in library. So do i need any other hardware or software. If so, suggest me please. I will be really grateful. Thank you.
