Direction of Arrival Estimation and Antenna Arrays?

Hi, guys. I have a question about the Direction of Arrival Estimation (DoA).

Are there any basic references related to the antenna array elements mutual coupling effect to DoA accuracy?

Besides, how do they characterize the mutual-coupling effects in antenna array? Do they still use S-parameters matrix or others such as Gain matrix....

I am not quite familar with this field, please give me some classical examples or article about the topic, Thanks.

I really do not understand your question. I think you can find some calculation hints about TOA and DOA in the paper by C. C. Chong 2003 paper in IEEE transaction.
