Rsoft problem when observing a time monitor

I'm using a cw source to study the transimssion power affected by the parameters of photonic crystal these days. I first put a time monitor (see attached) close to the launch source to observe the original input power. But I get nothing whatever I choose the "overlap" or "power" function for time monitor. Could anyone help me to resolve this problem?
