what is full wave

i still have a doubt in my mind, what is full-wave analysis? is it related to full-wave spice model? what is static analysis and the diference between them? why and when to adopt full-wave analysis? any indication will be appreciated!

Full analysis means that simulation the structure including TE(m,n) and TM(m.n) modes. So, FDTD, MMM, MOM, FEM and so on are all full analysis methods.

Full-wave analysis is for electromagnetic model, which explains the field effect of distrituted elements. Spice analysis is for circuit model, which explains the circuit effect of lumped element. Spice analysis is fast and not accurate while full-wave is slow and accurate. So for very complex question we often obtain the equivalent circuit of part circuit from the results obtained by full-wave analysis and then cascad all of the part circuits to simulate the whole circuit by spice analsyis for high efficiency.
