Hi all
Im bharathi Presently working on Metamaterials, designing metamaterial structures using IE3D.To check the High Impedance Surface im using the option called plane wave exciration that is provided in IE3D Port menu ,but after simulation im just getting radar cross section VS frequency but i want to check the magnitude of the reflection coefficent and its phase using IE3D when plane wave excitation option is used,can any one tell me how to do it please.

At this time, we have not implemented the reflected field's phase for periodical boundary condition. However, you might try to use the EDIT->PATTERN MANIPULATION AND WAVE PROPAGATION in PATTERNVIEW to find the scattered field in turns of the far field pattern. That might be able to give you the information.
