What's the direction of advance in vector product?

HI....

well i was just reading about vector product "the direction is determined by A and B and is along one of the two possible perpendiculars which is in the direction of advance of right"...........

what is this direction of advance right............

The direction of advance is dependant on the order of the vector product, AxB is opposite to BxA and the direction follows the right hand rule in the sense that if you rotate your fingers from the first vector to the second vector, your thumb will point in the direction of the perpendicular corresponding to the product
