What is a RF front end module?

what is the front end module ?
does it contain PA,LNA,SW,.....etc.
What is 2.45GHz/5.2GHz accepted by a front end module ?

the Front End module contain LNA , Mixer , filter ,
the PAM P A module is the PA and matching and the driver

Front End module is in RF transmitter/receiver.
It receive RF singal and down convert it to baseband signal. It also up convert baseband output signal to RF. It contains many parts.

If you want some information, maybe you can try Motorola or something like it.

As what I know about FEM(Front End Module),
it contains PA,LNA,SWx2,IPD.
I can realise about PA,LNA,IPD .
But I don't understand why there is SWx2 ?
