Transistor CDF parameters absent in IC5.0.33 in Fedora 4

Hi,

I am using IC5.0.33 in Fedora Core 4. The Cadence runs fine except for the following things:

1. When I open a schematic and try to check the properties of transistor or
resistor or any other component then the parameters like the lengt, width,
multiplier etc. do not show up. All the cdf parameters are absent.

When I type one of the values and go on to type the next one the previous
one again becomes blank.

2. When I open Analog Design Environment and try to do analysis like transient
then I cannot enter the stop time or in ac simulation cannot enter the start
and end frequency. When I enter the start frequency for ac simulation and go
to the end frequency then the start frequency box gets blank.

Did anybody experience any of these issues? Can anyone please suggest a solution/fix/work around.
