If I have a CPWG of length 1mm which gives IL of say X dB, then what would be the IL for 2mm of same CPWG. Should it not be 2X dB.
I did simulation in HFSS(Driven terminal) for 2mm and 5mm of CPWG and following are the results:
Length Zo IL IL/cm RL
2mm 49.909 -0.4436 -2.218 -25.9589
5 mm 49.314 -1.559 -3.118 -23.4257
I was expecting IL/cm to be close to each other but there is significant difference. Is my assumption wrong or I am doing something wrong in HFSS.
