touches periodic boundary!

hi all,

I am reproducing the cut-wire pairs structure (in metamaterials). I used the periodic boundaries in X and Y directions, and open boundary in Z. But it always shows the above error. How can I fix it? And about setting up E field and H field, is it nescessary or not?
