about m3d format file

i use microwave studio to simulate a resonator, which is axial symmetry。

what i need is the electromagnetic loss of the copper wall, but i don't know how to get it in microwave studio

so i want to calculate it myself by the electromagnetic values, which is solved in mws

you could know that the electromagnetic values can be exported to a txt file, which is searching in 3D, and in descartes, but what i need is surface values, if using the exported result to fit my surface, the file will be too large a size, so i want to get the values from the result file(here i guess it is the m3d format, right?) directly.

which software can i use to open the m3d file ?
otherwise what is the storing form of the m3d file ?
how can i resolve my problems?

that's all. i don't know whether my problem is described clearly
thank you very much for suggestions

nobody gives some suggestions?

Well, if You wont to know more about simulation using M3D, come in my forum at http://vrmlserver.xooit.com/index.php or go to http://www.scolring.org/forum.php

My hobby is Virtual Reality, and I have an forum about VR Servers.
Peopels from scolring use a M3D player for their SCOL Server. They are experts on M3D language.

See You on my forum !

:D

Hi,

the "m3d" file is a CST extension. I don't think that any other program can read this format directly.

However, if you check the online documentation for "result reading dll" (advanced topic) you will find some information how you can included your field information in Mathlab or C++ programs.
