Hi,
I am trying to find Group delay of vivaldi antenna working in 3-5GHz.
I used HFSS 16.1.0 and placed two identical antennas at a distance of its far field.
After simulation, I found the group delay from Results>Create modal solution data report>Rectangular plot> Group delay
My question is that there are actually four group delays in option (since there are two ports in set up)
Please some one help me about the following:
1) Do I take Group Delay (2,1) or Group Delay(1,1) as group delay in my case?
2) Group delay(2,1) shows negative value(shown in figure). I selected "None" under function while plotting Group delay(2,1) (indicated in figures).
I setup sweep step= 0.1GHz , Start=2.6GHz, Stop=5.4GHz
What may be the reason of Group delay(2,1) being negative?
