how to calculate s parameter

Hi,

I am trying to calculate S-parameters with field calculator in HFSS. I used an incident wave excitation and defined several evaluation planes. However, my calculation based on Poynting vector can not even get the well-known rectangular waveguide correct. Can anyone give a tutorial on this, please?
