Help abt Patch antenna
do u mean the substrate hight?
What do you mean? it depends on you. You decide!!
sir i mean the X,Y,Z position of Patch on Substrate in the HFSS Software
is it used to be Centre of the Substrate ......
I know patch antennas and HFSS, so I would be glad to help, but I just don't understand the question you are trying to ask.
Please expain what your design goal is and what your problem is, and I will offer what advice I have
not necessarily.
try to simulate your antenna at different positions on the substrate and take a look at the results. From the simulated results you can understand whether it is needed for your application to put the antenna at the center or not.
i think that u have to take the distance between the patch edges and the ground plane greater than a quarter of the wavelength.
Increase in substrate dimension may increase your dielectric loss. so make it close to patch dimension. after all it is a cavity resonator. I am also new in patch and want to continue the discussion
hi,
do you have an idea about the choice of the dimension of the wave port??? and the substrate??
