need help on antenna theory and design

dear all,
i would be thankful to know what material i should read for both antenna theory and designing. i want to learn designing of antenna w.r.t. all of its parameters and analysis.

also i want to know the mathematical way of determining the phase center of antenna.

Before you start on antenna design, makesure you have the knowledge of the fundamental of electromagnetic, once you master EM, antenna will be just as easy as 123....

Antenna Theory on Balanis is a good book, but your theory of EM and mats must be very strong to understand the book, I am not trying scare you but antenna is all about mats and EM.
