Beam propagation method and comsol

I'm new user of Comsol software.
1. I want to solve beam propagation method using comsol. If any one tried this plz tell me, is that applicable on comsol or not?

2. Does comsol support usage of anisotropic material? How can I enter the permittivity tensor?
I'll be appreciated for any help or hint.
