calculate the band diagram of PHc slab

hi , everyone , now i am working on the calculation of band diagram of PHc slab,i read some papers ,there are several methods to do it , but i am interesting in the methods by FDTD and PWM ,and i am prepare the method of plane-wave-based transfer-matrix method , who can give me some information ,please.
