HFSS problem!!!!

Hi..
I simulate antenna with HFSS. But I get the good VSWR, freauency point and radiation pattern. But the gain is always wrong at the dipole, monopole, and patch antenna.
Do anyone get me some way to correct the this problem???

Many things can affect the gain, e.g. feed match network. Please upload your stuctures, and many good men will help you to check them. asdfaaa will help you, and we can also learn from them. ^_^

please see my dipole strusture and I have some issue to ask.

(1)sloution type
(2)boundary distance

1.Driven Modal - calculates the modal-based S-parameters. The S-matrix solutions will be expressed in terms of the incident and reflected powers of waveguide modes.
2. Driven Terminal - calculates the terminal-based S-parameters of multiconductor
transmission line ports. The S-matrix solutions will be expressed in terms of terminal voltages and currents.

Have you computed the input impedence?
now, in your structure the lumped port impedence was assumed 50 ohm.

The antenna doesn't resonate at 0.1Ghz.

i can get the good vswr result. But i can not get the directivity 2.15dB for dipole.

I suddenly remember that the length of the each arm of dipole should be a little short than one forth wavelength in your structure. Because at end of each arm, the current is not zero, and the equivalent length of the dipole will be a bit longer.
