Question about drawing waveguide in HFSS

Hi,

I would like to verify something from my understanding when we draw using HFSS for a box to function as a waveguide, we need not select the faces of the box under the setup material as the HFSS assumes the box to be in perfect E conditions. Is my assumptiopn correct?

You can easily verify it yourself. From the HFSS menu click "Boundary Conditions (Solver View). The default "outer" boundary condition is PEC.
You should have two waveports and the rest "outer".
