Hi everyone

Can anyone send me a short explanation why the unsplit PML formulation is usually used for time harmonic problems and not time-dependent problems (where the split formulation is usually used) ?

I have seen the 2 PMLs being used in exactly the same types of simulations, e.g, antennas,TLs, circuits,biomagnetics etc....

and so far i have never read something like this. I think it's an intelligent observation.Could you please elaborate on your question including a couple of typical applications?
