radiation pattern of 3??
I am trying to simulate an patch antenna. But there are something wrong in defining waveport and boundaries. I have put it in the attachment. Could you help me to correct it? I need the result of E and H in the far field from 1GHz to12GHz.

Thank you very much!

Try this one out
I have seen the structure, I think the boundary is not good.
The patch and ground should assign PerfE.
My two cents:
Assume this antenna work at 10GHz, then the wavelength λ =3cm=30mm
the distance between your metal cap and the circular patch antenna is 20mm,
2/3 λ , I believe it will spoil the orignal radiation pattern.
So i prefer to remove the cap and reduce the size of radiation air box.
Even MoM require more dense meshing matrix, 1 wavelength λ 10segements should be enough, I checked your mesh refinement, maximum length you set is 1 mm, it means 1 wavelength 30segements, I think it is too strigent, no need to use such a fine mesh. And your model is too time and ram consuming.
btw, what is the radiation mechanism of this kind of antenna? there is no ground plane beneath the antenna, the radiation efficience should be very low, am I right?
another problem is the input impedance, is it possible to match it to normal 50 Ω ?
After my simulation finished, I will attach the results and keep u updated.
