efficient interconnect

hi to all,

i need to model an efficient interconnect structure which overcomes signal integrity effects. i have modelled gcpw waveguide as interconnect structure. now in what way i can modify or add someother material in gcpw to improve its performance.
can any one give me good suggestion.
