HFSS CPW
I am using HFSS V.9 to simulate a CPW and having a few questons to ask:
1. Why my portzo (p1) is about 50, but portz0 (p2) is 52?
2. when I check the z matrix, does z11 there need to time 50 to get the real input resistance?
3. What should the port filed look like if the waveport is set up correctly?
This is my first time to use HFSS, I really want to get it right.

for 1. the reason could be meshing try refining ports.
2. i think not necessary. try converting S parameter to Z u'll understand
3. Sometime back i had same doubt some1 cleared the images are in this site i'll look for it and let u know

After a long delay I'm glad to be back on HFSS studying. I have another question regarding analysis:
In my analysis setup: Max.number of passes: 10
Max. Mag Delta S Per pass=0.02
after analysis in "solution data" window I found the result is not converged. But after looking in detail each pass. I found Max. Mag Delta S is less than 0.02 in at least three passes(pass 5, 6, 7). My questions are: 1. why does HFSS continue to simulate even though it has reached the requirement? 2. Can I trust the simulation result?
