Job Qualifications

1.
4-7 years experience in ASIC/FPGA (Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog DPI) verification is required.

2.
Experience in RTL coding, synthesis, C/C++/System C usage in verification environment is must.

3.
Familiarity with processes (simulation and timing based aspects of hardware: race conditions, synchronization) and pre-silicon and post-silicon verification methodologies, and lab equipment (scopes, logic analyzers) are a plus.

4.
Strong trouble shooting skills, ability to break a complex problem into its simple components is required.

5.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and program management skills are needed.

6.
Self-starter who is open to the new technology and willing to learn.

7.
Aggressive, proactive, a strong team player and willing to accept challenges, learn new technologies and methodologies.

8.
Fluent in English.

9.
Education: Minimum BSEE/Computer Science. MSEE is a plus

Job Duties

1.
Function Verification Application Engineer is an experienced SoC verification engineer with clear understanding of verification methodologies and flows, who will drive customer use, revenue growth and facilitate sales of Mentor Front End solutions for SoC verification.

2.
The AE is responsible for supporting customer engagements and rolling out new verification methodologies to the customers by providing training and technical support.

3.
The AE supports the sales organization through product demonstrations, competitive benchmarks and evaluations. The AE plays an active role in account planning, where they work as a part of the account team to develop the solutions to customer problems by using his/her in depth knowledge of customer challenges and issues.

4.
Develop and deliver technical presentations on new features and product updates;

5.
Communicate customers’ technical requirements to product division.

6.
Travel is required for this position.
