Some questions about RF4CE
I have bought the CC2533DK-RF4CE-BA, and studied it for several monthes.I have some questions want to ask.
First, why TI choose RF4CE to achieve the Home Control, but don't choose ZSTACK protocol.
Second,In the RF4CE protocol,we only can build a star network, and before communication we must pair each nodes(In RemoTI 1.3.1, we must push down a key on each nodes),I feel it's a little Unintelligent.
Third,If I want to use a controller to control Five nodes, and I have paired with these nodes. Can I choose one node from the PairItem directly?(Maybe by push down a key on the contoller? And we don't need to do anything on the target node).
Forth,Comparing with ZSTACK, in Home control field, what's the advantages of RF4CE.
RF4CE is a standard for interoperability . If your end-customer asked for this, you have no other option but to make it good. if you just want to use a remote controller to control some nodes and expect these node could have zigbee ad hoc features,(without coordinator), you can take a look at the new profile Zigbee light link.(not just for lighting)

Thanks for your reply.
In fact, I want to use a RF4CE node as an Intelligent home gateway node(this node connect with the The set-top box), other nodes can communicate with the gateway node and the controller(for example, node A build a pan PAN1, node B build a pan PAN2,.Now, I can let the controller communicate with A and B, but A always can't communicate with B, I haven't found the reasons). I also can use the controller to control all the nodes(Including the gateway node), and the normal nodes can communicate with the gateway node intelligently.
Why don't use ZSTACK to realize the interoperability? It's mort intelligent than the RF4CE.
I want to use RF4CE to begin my work, but I really got into trouble.
