It depends on the design is capless or is using external cap, and where to position the dominant pole vs non-dominant poles. There are many other design metrics need to be considered beside stability.
All compensation techniques for 2-stage OpAmp are working for LDO except the ouput POLE can move a few orders with respect to variation of load current.
