About IPC netlist

When the Fab house ask for the IPC netlist, I usually generate it like that :

First Method:

1. Implement Tools---CAM, and generate the .cam file.

2. Open CAM350, and select File ---open , then open the cam file.

3. Export---Netlist, select IPC-D-356.

Second Method:

1. First generate gerber files in PADS.

2. Import gerber files in CAM350,

3. Define the layer for top and bottom films.

4. Extract the netlist

5. Export the netlist.

So my question is which one is good for Fab house?  I think it should be the first one, but when i generate the cam file in PADS,

the copper in board file will be ignored, so when i compare the netlist in CAM350, errors will be report for the nets which conneted with those coppers.
