No ciphering
在移动通信中部分传输过程中是没有加密的,因此信令中询问时就会收到上面的消息"No ciphering"
没有加密。。。
No ciphering:不加密的意思。
加密流程一般出现在位置更新、业务接入、局间切换等服务请求中,需要GSM网络设备特别是基站的支持,也取决于手机的加密支持能力。
加密流程:
(1) 加密模式设置流程中,MSC向BSC发一条Cipher Mode CMD命令,
该消息中包含要求的加密算法和密钥Kc(包括要求不加密),以及是否要求MS在Ciphering Mode CMP中包括IMEI;
(2) BSC 根据MSC的Cipher Mode CMD命令中的加密算法、BSC允许的
加密算法以及手机支持的加密算法来最终决定采用的算法,然后通知BTS;
(3) BSC向MS发送Ciphering Mode CMD命令,用来通知手机所选择的加
密算法;
(4) MS 收到Ciphering Mode CMD命令后,启动加密模式的传送,然后向
系统返回Ciphering Mode CMP;
(5) 收到MS的Ciphering Mode CMP消息后向;BSC通知MSC Cipher
Mode CMP。
流程说明:
(1) A5加密算法(Item Step)
GSM协议规定了A5/0~A5/7共8种加密算法,A5/0表示不加密。加密设置流程由网络侧发起,在Cipher Mode CMD 消息的Encryption Information单元中指明要求的加密算法。
(2) 加密算法的选择
MS在发起呼叫请求时,会在CM SERV REQ中带上Classmrk 2和Classmrk 3,其中包含了手机对加密算法的支持。MSC根据加密数据配置下发加密命令,BSC综合考虑MSC下发的加密命令中允许的加密算法、BSC数据配置中允许的加密算法、手机在CM SERV REQ中上报的支持的加密算法后,选择合适的加密算法。
加密拒绝
If the BSS is unable to support the ciphering algorithm specified in the CIPHER MODE COMMAND message then it shall return a CIPHER MODE REJECT message with Cause value "Ciphering algorithm not supported". A CIPHER MODE REJECT message shall also be returned if the MSC requests a change of ciphering algorithm when ciphering is already active.
移动台不加密
Whenever the mobile station receives a valid CIPHERING MODE COMMAND message, it shall, if a SIM is present and considered valid by the ME and the ciphering key sequence number stored on the SIM indicates that a ciphering key is available, load the ciphering key stored on the SIM into the ME. A valid CIPHERING MODE COMMAND message is defined to be one of the following:
- one that indicates "start ciphering" and is received by the mobile station in the "not ciphered" mode;
- one that indicates "no ciphering" and is received by the MS in the "not ciphered" mode; or
- one that indicates "no ciphering" and is received by the mobile station in the "ciphered" mode.
Other CIPHERING MODE COMMAND messages shall be regarded as erroneous, an RR STATUS message with cause "Protocol error unspecified" shall be returned, and no further action taken.
