Can anyone introduce how to measure the output impedance of SAW filter?

Saw filter has 50 Ohm input impedance and differential output impedance, i just want to measure the output differential impedance only for academic propose, could anyone help me?thanks !

BTW,why supplier indicates the output impedance by R//C or R//L not R+j ,thanks!

Use network analyzer with a proper balun and then de-embed baluns' s-parameters.In order to do this, convert s-parameters to ABCD parameters and consider cascaded systems.
Or, use again network analyzer measure each one of diff. port and then convert these single ended s-parameters to differential by using matlab or similar calculating program.. ?
But if the manufacturer has given output impedance being as R//C, why don't you do parallel-to-series transformation?

BigBoss, thanks.
I just want to measure the diff.impedance to compare and verify the data in spec from manufacturer ,and then, i can use the same measurement to measure my DUT's diff.impedance if the methods is correct, for example,i want to measure dipole antenna's impedance.

Your first method above is very complicated and the need very much workload, the 2nd one is not clear, could you pls tell me the details or any paper could be sent to me,thanks a lot! !

Let me tell you my second proposal..
Connect your SAW device with 2 input/output for each pin then measure each port by terminating the other thus you will obtain single ended 2 s-paramers sets.
By aid of Matlab, you can converrt these single ended s-parameters into differential one.I have a paper about this method, when I find it, i'm gonna post..

I believe the lumped element approach of specifying SAW filter S22 parameter gives an intuitive approach with a nomograph slide rule to look up the complementary load required to null the reactance and achieve Z≈100 + ~0j differential impedance. Of course a 2channel VNA is ideal for testing, but if not avail an LC matched balun is an option.

Thanks very much!

It does help me.
