Crossed yagi antennas
can anyone pls help me out with the design of a crossed yagi antenna?
thanx in advance:)

Which aspect of the design do you need help with?
The yagi itself? What gain/frequency?
The phasing/feed network? (again, what frequency? How many yagis in the array?)
Otherwise, if you already have two antennas - just mount them such that their elements are orthogonal to each other and feed them 90 degrees out of phase!
Hi all. Electrician by trade and self taught in electronics but RF is like Black Magic to me. Some parts I follow and some not. I found this forum in looking for how to connect to YAGI's in a crossed patten for weather sat receiving. I have found programs etc to design the YAGI (times 2 of course) BUT I don't understand or get how to calculate the lengths and how to connect the coax so we end up with a 50 ohm impedance going to the receiver and also whilst we are at it (and from reading bits and pieces) do I have to configure it so the antenna's are out of phase?
