the spacing required between two anntenna mounted on the same tower

hello
i am try calculate the distance between two antennas mounted on the same tower, one is directional antenna and the other is omidirectional
both antenna uses the frequency
thxs

Use what freq?
Normally they should be separated by 5 lamda at least.

is the directional one vertical or horizontal polarised ?
is the Omni one mounted at the top above the directional
is the omni a dipole/ phased dipole array or something else ?
are they both operating in the same freq range ? say for example 400 - 500 MHz or are the freq's very widely separated ?

5 wavelengths is not always practical and is unnecessary

1 wavelength at the lowest freq being used ( IF they are on widely separated freq's ) is plenty

Dave

it is vertical polarization the directional antenna and both operating at the same frequency range
but if there is equation or formula to calculate the right spacing between them
thxs for ur reply
