Hi all,
I just do a Fourier transform on a pulse waveform (HEMP). the unit after transform is (V/m)/Hz, it is plot against frequency in Hz. Is anyone know how to convert it to V/m?
thank you very much.

Formally, by specifying a bandwidth
Ft of any signal directly converts a signal from time domain into frequency domain never knew there are intermediate domains in it
Hi FvM,
thank you for your reply!
What do u mean by specifying a bandwidth? does it means if i want to plot the graph from 10MHz to 1000MHz, i have to multiply (V/m)/Hz to 990MHz(bandwidth)?
thank you
It means, that the correct unit to plot is V/(m*Hz) (spectral density of field strength) rather than V/m, by nature of the signal.
ok, thank you very much!
