Looking for a radio module for software defined radio.

I am a digital communication engineer. I am looking for a radio transceiver at 2.45 GHz (other higher frequency will be considered as well) which support raw I and Q data as an input for transmitter or output for receiver. So, I can generate any I and Q data and send it to the radio module for transmission. Also, for the receiver, I can process the I and Q data received from the radio module.

The idea would be similar to software defined radio but I only need the radio part cause I have a FPGA development kit.

Any recommendation?

Thanks!

I hope I understand your question correctly...

Have a look at the product offering at CML Microcircuits. I've used one of their products before and it worked fantastic.
Not exactly sure if they have something that will suit your requirement.

I have a familar RF module parter at China, the name is V-chip Micreosystems,lnc.. www.digiRF.com/en/

They have RF module with 2.45 . You could contact with them.

Hope it helps.

Thanks all! I am actually looking for a complete transceiver like below:

This has an FMC interface to connect to XILINX FPGA board but other interface will be considered. I am not considering this because it is too expensive. Any other suggestions?

Would be good to have ADC and DAC included as well.

Thanks.

In GNU SDR page, USRP is recommended ( https://www.ettus.com/product/category/Daughterboards ). But I don't know the price.
